We are now looking for a Business Operations Specialist for our financial services. Ideally you are highly skilled in both IT and finance. As a Business Operations Specialist you will play a crucial role in providing accurate financial data to our B2B customers and manage pay in and payout money flows related to EV charging transactions. We are looking for someone who possess expertise in data engineering and analysis. This role requires strong Excel skills to analyze financial and operational data and previous expertise in finance.

What you’ll do:

• Produce and manage accurate financial settlements (payouts) to our B2B customers
• Develop quality controls and risk management related to the money flows (pay in and payout)
• Analyze and interpret financial and operational data to support business decision-making.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate IT solutions with financial reporting and operations
• Design and manage complex databases and reports, ensuring performance and scalability, with a focus on SQL
• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and security across systems and applications.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to databases, and financial platforms

To succeed in this role, you will have

• Degree in computer science, Information Technology, Finance, or a related field
• 3+ years of experience in Developer/IT/Finance roles
• Hands-on experience with databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, Snowflake or equivalent), including SQL expertise
• Knowledge of financial services and payment solutions is highly preferred
• Critical mind with strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively
• Fluent in English
• Residency in EU
• Proficiency in PHP and Laravel frameworks is a plus
• Understanding shell/terminal commands, git, ci/cd is a plus
