Your Role & Responsibilities
As Sales Director Large Networks DACH, you will:
- Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to drive growth in the DACH market.
- Engage C-level executives in high-impact discussions and present compelling business cases.
- Identify customer pain points and present tailored solutions that align with their strategic objectives.
- Build and nurture relationships with key stakeholders, potential customers, and partners.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, expanding our customer base through effective prospecting.
- Manage the sales pipeline, ensuring accurate forecasting and successful deal closures.
- Manage complex sales cycles with a consultative selling approach.
- Strengthen existing customer relationships while driving revenue growth.
- Achieve ambitious sales targets and contribute to Virta’s market leadership.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams (e.g., marketing, product, and customer success) to deliver a seamless customer experience.
What You Bring
You are a self-motivated, results-driven sales professional with a proven track record in complex IoT solution sales. You understand value-based selling and can build strong, trusted relationships with stakeholders at all levels, including C-suite executives.
Your Skills & Experience
- Experience in the EV/e-mobility industry.
- Background in enterprise sales, ideally engaging with large multinational corporations
- Strong track record of successfully building relationships with C-level executives
- Ability to understand complex business environments and propose tailored solutions.
- Strategic thinker with a results-driven mindset.
- Ability to create compelling presentations, business cases, and ROI calculations.
- Commercial acumen with experience in developing business cases and value-based proposals.
- Experience navigating long sales cycles and multi-stakeholder environments
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Strong expertise in sales methodologies (e.g., MEDDIC, SPIN).
- Proficiency in digital sales tools such as HubSpot, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and Cognism.
- Fluent in German and English (written and verbal).
- Willingness to travel (national and occasional international).
- Experience in EV charging, EV platforms, or solution sales is a strong advantage.
